Musica Sacra Festival

Musica Sacra in Croatia, a festival of friendship dedicated to the beauty of sacred choral music.

The festival, originally titled “Musica sacra über die Grenzen”, was founded more than 20 years ago by conductor Manfred Linsbauer with the idea of bringing together the people of Austria and neighbouring countries through music. It was held in Croatia for the first time in 2015. Previous host countries have included Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy and Slovenia. Thanks to the Ars Cultura Association and the mixed choir “Roženice” from Pazin, Croatia was added to the festival map and has since become one of its traditional host countries.
